Using AirDrop

When sending larger files, most people use Internet services, whether it is a cloud solution or a Vault, for example. However, you can transfer data between iPhones, iPads and Macs via Bluetooth, using the AirDrop function. For availability, you have to turn on Bluetooth, but mainly it is necessary to check how you have AirDrop set up. Go to Settings, further to In general and in the section AirDrop tick one of the options Reception is turned off, Contacts only a All. Properly set up AirDrop must have both devices you want to connect. To forward files, just tap on them share icon (square with an arrow), and then at the very top they clicked on the name of the device you want to send the file to, or on the AirDrop icon and choose from the extended menu.

Wi-Fi password sharing

If you have a visitor and need to connect to the Internet, but you do not remember the password to your Wi-Fi, there is a fairly simple way to solve the problem. If a person has iPhone and you have her in contacts, you can give her a password to share. The condition is that both your phone and the other person's phone have turned on Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, and to be on the Wi-Fi whose password you want to share, connected. Then just go to on the other person's phone Settings -> Wi-Fi and select Wi-Fithat you want to connect to. When the password keyboard appears, unlock your phone. A dialog box will appear on it asking if you want to share the password with the other phone, you choose Share. If this function does not work for you, see below for detailed instructions.

Security with a multi-digit or alphanumeric code

By default, Apple phones are set to security using a six-digit code. However, if you feel that you want to secure your iPhone better (or worse) just to be sure, you can do so without any problem. Go to Settings, click on Touch ID/Face ID and code, enter the code and click below Change the lock code. Enter your code again and then tap on the option to fill in a new one Code options. Choose from the options here Custom alphanumeric code, Custom numeric code or A four-digit numeric code.

Data investigation

If you need to save data, but you don't want to turn on individual settings for saving separately, there is a simple and relatively quick solution. In addition, it can be used even when you are connected to Wi-Fi, which is useful, for example, when connecting to a personal hotspot or a router with a SIM card. This is a low data mode that will limit some of the iPhone's background operations and reduce the quality of content played in multimedia applications. To save mobile data using this method, go to Settings, click on Mobile data and in the section Data options activate switch Low data mode. To activate when connected to a certain Wi-Fi network, open Settings, choose Wi-Fi and in the given network in the section Additional information turn on switch Low data mode.
