Vratislav Holub On the occasion of the developer conference WWDC 2022, we saw the presentation of the new systems iOS 16, iPadOS 16, watchOS 9 and macOS 13 Ventura, which come with a number of rather interesting novelties. For example, the system for iPhones received a redesign of the lock screen, the system for Apple Watch a lot of news for athletes and runners, and the system for Macs a decent upheaval and support for the productivity of users. Of course, to make matters worse, Apple also boasted X new native apps that will be heading to our Apple products this fall. Which one is it and what will it actually be used for?
Medicines (watchOS)
The Medicines function/application is part of the new operating systems. It is part of the native Health in iOS 16 and iPadOS 16, but in the case of watchOS 9 it comes as a separate application with a single goal – to make sure that apple users do not forget to take their medicine. In practice, the app will serve similarly to Reminders. The difference, however, is that with it, Apple focuses directly on medication, and at the same time keeps track of whether the user has taken the given medication or not. It is a great helper for a wide range of users.
Probably all of us have encountered a situation where we simply forgot about the medicine. In this simple way, it will finally be possible to prevent it, and the Apple Watch will play a big role in it. They inform you about everything directly from your wrist, without you having to take out your phone at all, which brings a huge advantage.

Adam Kos Weather (macOS & iPadOS)
After years of waiting, we will also finally see an application that Apple computer users have been clamoring for for a long time. We are, of course, talking about the native Weather. It is the Weather that is missing in macOS to this day and is replaced by an ordinary widget, which is not as handy as a separate app. On the contrary, its possibilities are limited and if we want to get more information from it, it redirects us to the Internet. Mac users can look forward to a separate program with a number of great functions. There will also be the possibility of notifications for exceptional situations.
Apple tablet users can also rejoice. Even iPadOS still lacks native Weather, which is why its users have to either rely on third-party applications or go online to find out the forecast. Of course, using the app is always a bit more convenient and faster.
Clock (macOS)
Apple computers are yet to receive another great gadget. With the arrival of macOS 13 Ventura, the native Clock application will arrive on Macs, with the help of which we will then be able to set various alarms, timers and others, which we simply could not do until now. In addition, the clock will be perfectly connected with the voice assistant Siri or searching through Spotlight, so it will be possible to set individual operations very quickly without having to waste time with them. As already mentioned, we still lack something like this in macOS. If we were to ask Siri to set a timer/alarm now, she would only tell us that such a thing is not possible. As an alternative, it will offer the use of Reminders.

Although the Clock application may seem insignificant and easily replaceable, at its core it has a good use and its arrival in macOS will definitely please most users. For example, you can use alarm clocks or timers at work and theoretically raise productivity to the next level.
Freeform
The interesting application Freeform will also arrive in apple operating systems (iOS, iPadOS and macOS). Its goal is to support the productivity of apple growers and make it much easier for them to collaborate in real time. Specifically, it will focus on brainstorming and mutual collaboration so that together you can bring your ideas to real life. Together, you will be able to write down various notes, share files or Internet links, documents, videos or even voice recordings.
Freeform
In practice, it will work quite simply. You can think of Freeform as an endless canvas with plenty of space to draw your thoughts and ideas. In any case, it is necessary to draw attention to one rather important fact - the application will not be available immediately when the operating systems are released. Apple promises its arrival later this year, but it may happen that we meet a delay in the final.
