During the course of using the Apple Watch, our preferences, demands, abilities or even body parameters naturally change from time to time. In today's article, we will introduce several important settings that you can change on your Apple smartwatch.

Changing metrics

While exercising, you have surely noticed that the display of your Apple Watch shows data related to the exercise in progress. Depending on the type of exercise, this may include distance, pace, number of laps, number of calories burned, or heart rate. The way this data is displayed can be changed very easily - you can set that only one data will always be displayed, or only the data that you choose yourself. But when setting up, keep in mind that you can display a maximum of five data on the display of your Apple Watch. Launch the app on your iPhone Watch and tap on Exercise. At the very top, tap on Exercise view and select whether you want to display one or more data. When choosing to display a single data, you can switch to the next data on the display of your Apple Watch simply by moving the digital crown of the watch. If you choose to view more data, tap exercises, for which you want to change the way data is displayed. In the upper right corner of the display, select edit, and then it is enough to change the order of the displayed data by scrolling. For data deletion click on red wheel icon on the left side, for adding new data click on green wheel.

Changing the calorie goal

While some users don't really care about closing the rings on their Apple Watch, for others it can be a major issue. Sometimes it can happen that closing circles with normally set values is not possible for various reasons, be it illness or heavy workload. But you can help yourself by changing some of your goals. Unfortunately, it is not possible to reduce the exercise goal below 30 minutes, but you can change the movement goal (red circle). Launch the app on your Apple Watch Activity and long press the circles. Tap the item Change daily goal and using the buttons + and – on the screen change the number of active calories, that you have to burn in a day. When done, tap on Update.

Weight and height settings

Has your weight changed as a result of intense (non)exercise? Then definitely don't forget to update the relevant data in the native Health application as well. Launch the app on your iPhone Watch and tap on Health. Select an item here Health profile. In the upper right corner, tap Adjust, select the data you want to change and set the current data.
