By far the best and most popular password storage tool out there is 1Password. In addition, AgileBits is constantly improving its app, and in version 5.3 we will see more great features on iPhones and iPads.

If you use 1Password on the desktop, you are definitely using its integrated version in the browser, which you can easily call up and easily search for and fill in login or other data. Now the same is coming to Safari on iOS.

When you come across a field to fill in your name and password on your iPhone or iPad, just open the system sharing menu (where you need to enable the 1Password extension), click on the 1Password icon, and you'll instantly have an overview of your saved passwords, but also your favorites, including credit cards and bank accounts. At the same time, you can create new login data right here.

If you are creating new data, 1Password will offer you the option to create a secure password directly in the extension. The new extension will also be used in others applications that integrate the 1Password API. The only thing missing in the iOS version compared to the desktop version is the automatic request to save a new login when you enter it. But that's quite understandable given the limitations.

Under the hood, AgileBits promises to have improved the intelligence of the system that selects what specific 1Password data you need on a given site, so filling should be even faster.
