When Apple released the 16″ MacBook Pro last month, many experts and regular users cheered, especially because the new machine also brought back the good old scissor keyboard mechanism. Unfortunately, it cannot be said that the new MacBook Pro is XNUMX% error-free - users are starting to experience problems with the speakers to a greater extent.

Some of the new owners of the 16″ MacBook Pro complain that the speakers sometimes make a strange and somewhat annoying sound. Complaints appear on user discussions on Apple's support pages, as well as on social networks or discussion platforms such as Reddit. In most cases, users report that cracking sounds are heard from the speaker. In the video below, we can see that the sound is heard when the playback is paused.

One of the server's editors has the same problem with his MacBook Pro 9to5Mac, Chance Miller, according to which the crackling is most noticeable when playing system sounds, such as various notifications. One of the users said that he took his MacBook to the Apple Store, where the same problem was also demonstrated with other 16″ MacBook Pros – it occurred in three of the four models tested.

Apple released its MacBook Pro in mid-November. While the scissor mechanism of the keyboard received positive reviews, received criticism for example, a non-updated camera or the absence of support for the Wi-Fi 6 standard.
