On Wednesday, May 31st, we will see the final episode of Season 3 of probably the most famous, well-known and successful series produced by Apple TV+ Ted Lasso, which, by the way, has the appropriate title of the Goodbye episode. And the goodbye may indeed be final. Even though it was believed and hoped that due to the success of the series we would see a sequel, the current strike of the writers is not doing much for that. Toward the end of the series, various promotional events with the performers were planned, but due to the current situation, they were canceled.
Originally, only three seasons were planned, but with the growing popularity, of course, plans changed. However, right now it doesn't really look like we'll be getting a sequel. If Apple wants to get anything out of the brand, it will probably be without the main protagonist in some character spin-offs. However, the final episode of Season 3 still isn't marked as a truly definitive end to the entire series, so if you're a fan of Ted, you can still hope.
