Ted Lasso in the animated Christmas special
Apple, not only within its TV+ platform, but also on the YouTube channel, launched a Christmas special of its hit Ted Lasso, in which the protagonist loses his mustache. The special episode, which is less than five minutes long, is of course free and you can watch it below. It is entirely animated in the classic Wallace & Gromit style, and each actor is also voiced by the original actor of the series.
Afterparty has a full trailer
After 18 months since filming began and after two when we were able to see the first teaser, here is finally a full-length trailer for the eight-part murder comedy Afterparty, which premieres on the platform on January 28, 2022. On this day, we will see the first three parts, the next five comes after every other Friday. The plot takes place at a meeting of high school classmates, where one of the attendees is murdered. This incident is then narrated from the different perspectives of different characters. Each episode will also be shot in a different visual style and embody a different film genre.
Suspicion with Uma Thurman
"Suspicion" will premiere on the platform on February 4, 2022, when Apple will release the first two episodes. The remainder of the eight-part series will be released every Friday thereafter. It stars not only Uma Thurman, but also Kunal Nayyar, Noah Emmerich, Georgina Campbell, Elkes Gabel, Elizabeth Henstridge, Tom Rhys-Harries and Angel Coulby. The series is based on the popular Israeli series False Flag, when the son of an American businesswoman, played by Uma Thurman, is kidnapped from a New York hotel, and suspicion immediately falls on four more of his guests. The FBI then tries to prove their guilt, as they try to prove their innocence.
The Handmaiden will get a fourth season
M. Night Shyamalan has announced that his Servant will also receive a fourth and final season on Apple TV+. This writer and director informed about it through a post on the social networking site Twitter. In it, he also mentions that 40 total episodes have been talked about since the beginning of the project, but nowhere was there any guarantee that he would actually see them. Now we know that he tells the whole story.
