TV+ offers original comedies, dramas, thrillers, documentaries and children's shows. However, unlike most other streaming services, the service no longer contains any additional catalog beyond its own creations. Other titles are available for purchase or rental here. This week is mainly about the premiere of the hit Trying, otherwise we can already start looking forward to the third Central Park.

Trying

Nikki and Jason want nothing more than a baby. And that's exactly what they can't have. This is also why they decide to adopt, which is what the first two series tell about. The third season premiered this Friday, July 22, with the first two episodes available to stream. The two main protagonists have become the parents of two children they hardly know. The question then is whether they will be able to keep both. Each new episode will be released every Friday until September 9th.

Surfside Girls

It is an animated series in which two best friends solve supernatural mysteries in their otherwise rather sleepy beach town. The story is based on the graphic novel series of the same name, where the central duo Sam and Jade solve not only ghosts, but also buried treasures and other mysteries using their opposite sides - logic and imagination. This family series will debut on the Apple TV+ platform on August 19.

Central Park

Season 3 of Central Park will premiere on September 9, 2022. In this animated musical comedy, Owen Tillerman and his family live a little unconventionally in busy New York's Central Park, where Owen is the caretaker. To do this, he has to defend himself against a rich hotel heiress who wants to turn the park into a residential area. It is clear that there is really no shortage of jokes here. The new series will then have a total of 13 episodes.

Awards for Swagger and Pachinko

Two Apple TV+ shows, Swagger and Pachinko, were honored with an African American Film Critics Association Television Award. Swagger, a sports drama inspired by the life of NBA star Kevin Durant, won Best Ensemble. Pachinko, which follows the story of a Korean immigrant family through several generations, won the award for best international production. These awards are another honor for Apple at the AAFCA Television Awards. Already in 2020, the animated Central Park was awarded in the Best Animated Film category. Apple continues to collect nominations and awards for its production. Since its debut, Apple TV+ has received 1 award nominations, which it has turned into wins on 115 occasions, including, of course, the Best Picture Oscar for Heartbeat.
