TV+ offers original comedies, dramas, thrillers, documentaries and children's shows. However, unlike most other streaming services, the service no longer contains any additional catalog beyond its own creations. Other titles are available for purchase or rental here. In this article, we will look together at the news in the service as of November 6, 2021, when we have two important premieres behind us. One featured Tom Hanks as Finch, the other is the ending of the story of writer Emily Dickinson.

Finch is after the premiere

Tom Hanks plays Finch, a man who embarks on a moving and important journey to find a new home for his unusual family in a dangerous and desolate world. The highly-anticipated film premiered on November 5, and to mark the occasion, Apple released a first look at the post-apocalyptic adventure. “Finch is the last man on earth. Maybe,” Hanks says in his commentary, which you can watch below.

Dickinson

On November 5, not only Finch premiered, but also the last 3rd season of the series Dickinson, when the first three episodes out of a total of ten were published on the platform. The series follows Emily Dickinson at her most productive, during the raging American Civil War (and the equally savage battle that divides her family). Festive itself premiere however, it took place already on Monday, November 1, with the participation of the creators. Unlike the premiere of the second Ted Lass, however, Tim Cook was not able to participate in it, but the entire staff was otherwise present.

Servant and 3rd series

Before the premiere, which is set for January 21, 2022, Apple has published a 78-second trailer for the new, and already third, season of the psychological horror drama Servant relatively early. It takes place three months after the end of season 2 and shows how the past always catches up with you. The series is behind M. Night Shyamalan (The Sixth Sense, Time) and stars not only Rupert Grint (Harry Potter saga), but also Toby Kebbell (Ben Hur, Kong: Skull Island).

Mariah Carey is back

After the success of last year's Mariah Carey's Magical Christmas Special, Apple and the singer are teaming up again for a sequel called Mariah's Christmas: The Magic Continues. This special for 2021 will also feature Mariah's new Christmas single with Khalid and Kirk Franklin called Fall in Love at Christmas. The premiere should be sometime in December, the exact date is not yet known.
