TV+ offers original comedies, dramas, thrillers, documentaries and children's shows. However, unlike most other streaming services, the service no longer contains any additional catalog beyond its own creations. Other titles are available for purchase or rental here. Apple has announced that it is actively working on a second series of Afterparty and posted a compelling documentary about the legend Michael J. Fox.

Afterparty

Afterparty debuted on Apple TV+ in January 2022, and the series featured the different perspectives of each attendee at a high school reunion party on the murder of one of them. The platform has now confirmed that there will be a second season, in which some old familiar faces will be accompanied by new ones. The premiere is set for July 12, and the series will consist of 10 episodes.

STILL: To Michael J. Fox Movie

The film, which contains documentary and archival elements, tells Fox's extraordinary story in his own words - the unlikely story of an undersized child from a Canadian military base who became extremely popular in the 80s. But at the age of 29, he was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease, which turned his life upside down. Among other things, the documentary explores what happens when an incurable optimist faces an incurable disease. The premiere will be on May 12.

High Desert

The eight-part dark comedy starring Patricia Arquette is one of the most recently announced series to premiere on Apple TV+. She will be accompanied here by Matt Dillon, Christine Taylor, Weruche Opia, Brad Garrett, Bernadette Peters and Rupert Friend. The series follows Peggy, a drug addict who decides to start over after the death of her beloved mother, with whom she lived in the small desert town of Yucca Valley, California. He makes a rather unusual decision and becomes a private detective.

Apple TV+ is not growing in the US

In a new JustWatch survey, Apple TV+'s share of the US streaming platform market remained at 6%, reflecting the first quarter of this year. So the number is the same as in the previous results of the survey, but the platform was jumped by another one, namely Paramount+. The problem is that Apple TV+ holds its share, but others are growing, which is a problem in the domestic market. But even Netflix, which is now in 2nd place, did not fare well, as it was jumped by a percentage of Amazon Prime Video.
