Truth be Told and the Invasion will return
In the award-winning mystery series Truth be Told you follow Octavia Spencer in the lead role of Poppy Parnell as she risks everything, including her life, to uncover the truth and achieve justice. Meanwhile, Karlík Braun is trying to keep one of his resolutions before the clock strikes midnight. The new film uses a refined animation style that balances its modern take while still evoking Charles Schulz's hand-drawn cartoons from which the Snoopy franchise originated.
Dickinson and inspiration in the Czech Republic
Alena Smith, the executive producer of the Dickinson series, revealed to the magazine The Hollywood Reporter, that her great inspiration in creating the series was the film sedmikrasky from 1966, filmed by Věra Chytilová. He follows two mischievous girls, both named Marie, who are rebelling here against the then regime. The last episode of the second series practically describes the theme of the film. However, the scene in which Emily and Sue cut up the newspaper with scissors, just like the two Maries from Descendants, did not make it into the final cut.
