Omens and Ted Lasso
The third season of Ted Lasso has its premiere. As part of it, however, Apple released only the opening episode with the subtitle "Evil Spirit", while the second one, entitled "Chelsea I Don't Want", will be available on Wednesday, March 22. Apple has bet here on the strength of the title, and is trying to attract viewers on days other than typical primetime Fridays. This Friday, the first three episodes of the star-studded series Premonitions were added to the platform. These take place in the years 2037, 2046 and 2047. Here, individual powers are arguing about the fate of humanity and everything is heading towards its demise.
Monster Factory
Another premiere this week was Monster Factory, a six-part documentary series about the engaging and rather crazy world of wrestling, in which exotics in rubber bands seek an escape from the binding everyday life and cling to the dream of a professional career. All parts are already available as part of Apple TV+.
My Country
The "My Kind of Country" competition aims to break down barriers in country music by providing an extraordinary opportunity for diverse and innovative artists from around the world. Scouts Allen, Guyton and Peck select exceptional up-and-coming artists and invite them to the home of country music in Nashville to showcase their unique sound and perspective on music. The winner will then receive a life-changing prize from Apple Music. The premiere will be on March 24.
Hijacking a plane
When the plane is hijacked during the seven-hour KA29 flight from Dubai to London, successful corporate negotiator Sam Nelson tries to use his professional skills to save everyone on board. The question remains whether his risky strategy will become his undoing. The main actor himself is played by the popular Idris Elba. The premiere date is not yet known, as is the scope of the entire work. But we can look forward to it "soon". At least you can watch the trailer for Elba's current hit on Netflix below.
