TV+ offers original comedies, dramas, thrillers, documentaries and children's shows. However, unlike most other streaming services, the service no longer contains any additional catalog beyond its own creations. Other titles are available for purchase or rental here. In this article, we will look together at the news in the service on November 26, 2021, when the premiere of an unusual Christmas film came and the trailer for the upcoming film Macbeth was published.

It was a Christmas row

The platform traditionally presents its premieres on Fridays, but in the case of a Christmas-themed film, it made an exception and presented Byl to Christmas Spor already on Thursday. It was Thanksgiving Day on Thursday, November 25, and Apple most likely wanted to please all already festive-minded viewers with this act.

In this real-life Christmas story, lawyer Jeremy Morris (aka Mister Christmas) gives the spirit of Christmas a whole new meaning. His extravagant Christmas event ignites a dispute with his neighbors, which will bring everyone to court. They don't like his decoration very much and according to them he violates the rules of the neighborhood. The premiere of the film is set for November 26, and you can watch the trailer below.

Martin Scorsese on Apple TV+

Martin Scorsese and Jonah Hill reunite in one project. After The Wolf of Wall Street, it will be in a musical biopic about the Grateful Dead, which was an American rock group formed in 1965 in San Francisco. She was known for combining elements of rock, folk, bluegrass, blues, reggae, country, jazz, psychedelic rock, space rock and gospel in her music. Their first self-titled album was released in 1967, and since then the Grateful Dead have released several dozen studio and live albums.

In 1995, the group disbanded after the death of frontman Jerry Garcia, and it is this musician who should be played by the mentioned Hill in the upcoming film. It is not yet completely clear what exactly and what period of the band the film will be about, so the tentative premiere date is also unknown. Scorsese has already produced and directed a number of rock documentaries, including one about this very band called Long Strange Trip. However, this Apple project will be his first biopic about a musical group.

Macbeth

Denzel Washington and Frances McDormand star in Joel Cohen's poignant adaptation of a tale of murder, madness, ambition and wicked cunning sure to show considerable acting chops. This is also evidenced by the samples from this black and white film, which already has great ambitions at first glance. The premiere isn't until January 14th, but you can at least watch the newly released trailer below.
