The popular entertainment show will return to Apple TV+ for its fifth season on May 27. That's also why you can watch the first trailer below. The new series will feature celebrities such as Simu Liu, Jessica Henwick, Murray Bartlett, Alexandra Daddario, Sydney Sweeney, Zooey Deschanel or Jonathan Scott. Carpool Karaoke is a spinoff of James Cordon's CBS Late Late Show of the same name. Apple bought the series back in 2016, and it has since won Emmys for each of its four seasons, along with many others, including a Producers Guild Award.
Cha Cha Real Smooth
Andrew, a 22-year-old college graduate still lives in his apartment in New Jersey and doesn't have very clear plans for the future. He therefore starts working as a guide for bar mitzvah and bat mitzvah celebrations, where he develops a unique friendship with a young mother and her teenage daughter. This is a film that Apple bought again at the Sundance festival, thanks to which it won, for example, the Oscar-winning film In the Rhythm of the Heart.
However, writer-director Cooper Raiff's Cha Cha Real Smooth "only" made $15 million, which is a full $10 million less than the previous release. Unlike many of the company's recent film transactions, this is an acquisition of a completed film, not a production or development deal. The premiere of the film is set for June 17, and Apple has released the first trailer for the film, which stars Dakota Johnson and Leslie Mann.
