TV+ offers original comedies, dramas, thrillers, documentaries and children's shows. However, unlike most other streaming services, the service no longer contains any additional catalog beyond its own creations. Other titles are available for purchase or rental here. This time, Apple presented the second series of its sci-fi Foundation, and we also have a list of what will no longer be continued on the platform.

The foundation is waiting for the 2nd season

This sci-fi saga is set to return for its second season on July 14 this year. Apple is already baiting it with the first trailer with the subtitle All Empires Fall. The synopsis for this adaptation states that The Foundation chronicles the stories of four individuals who transcend space and time as they overcome deadly crises, shifting loyalties and complicated relationships that ultimately determine the fate of humanity. The series is accompanied by a thematic podcast, where the individual laws of this complicated but engaging world are explained.

Known canceled Apple TV+ shows so far

The Apple TV+ platform has launched more than 2019 titles since its launch in 160, but some were unceremoniously canceled without plot closure. In the streaming era, it can be difficult to choose what to watch, especially when a show is canceled just when it's starting to look more than promising. This list only mentions those series that were supposed to have a sequel, but in the end didn't. So it does not take into account those that have already reached their final. But it is true that Mr. Corman or Truth be Told have their series with a finished story, so it is not absolutely necessary for the next series to somehow follow them.

  • Truth Be Told: 3 seasons, end date as of April 24, 2023
  • Dear Edward: 1 season, end date April 19, 2023
  • Amber Brown: 1 season, end date April 11, 2023
  • Coast of mosquitoes: 2 seasons, end date 20 January 2023
  • Shantaram: 1 season, end date December 15, 2022
  • Mr corman: 1 season, end date as of October 1, 2021
  • Little voice: 1 season, end date August 4, 2021

A crowded room

The Crowded Room is inspired by the true story told in the novel The Minds of Billy Milligan and will premiere on June 9. Starring Tom Holland and Amanda Seyfried. For Holland, this is another collaboration with an Apple production, the first being the war drama Cherry. This psychological thriller takes place in the summer of 1979, when a young man is arrested for a shocking crime. You can watch the first trailer below.

The Beanie Bubble

The new series deals with the background of one of the most extensive speculative manias that marked American culture in the 90s. The premiere on Apple TV+ should be on July 20, when Zach Galifianakis and Elizabeth Banks will appear in the main roles. You can watch a trailer for a documentary dealing with the same matter below.
