Silently, the SwiftKey alternative keyboard for iOS has received an update, which is, however, absolutely essential for the Czech user. Support for new languages has arrived in SwiftKey, including Czech. This means that the alternative keyboard can also be used for writing Czech text without restrictions. The update took place outside the App Store, and to download the Czech language, just visit the SwiftKey application.
On Android, where third-party keyboards have been at home for several years, SwiftKey is one of the most popular keyboards. On iOS arrived along with iOS 8, but initially it did not support Czech. Czech users can only use it fully now.
The main advantage of SwiftKey is the Flow function (not yet working on the iPad), thanks to which you only need to run your finger over the keyboard and specific letters, rather than typing them individually, and the keyboard itself uses a special algorithm to evaluate what word you probably wanted to write. In addition, SwiftKey learns your typing style over time and can predict what word might come next.
The top line with word suggestions can also be used without Flow. You can write classically on SwiftKey and speed up normal keyboard typing thanks to automatic corrections and hints. In the following weeks, we will test the Czech SwiftKey in detail and bring a comparison with the competing Swype keyboard.

does it have a better dictionary than swype? For me then the best minuum
How to activate flow on iOS? Flow works for me on Android, but I can't activate flow on iOS.
Now I know, flow does not work on iPads for now
Flow works great on 6
with SwiftKey, in order for flow to work on the iPhone, it is necessary to enable the transfer of all information that is written on the keyboard to the developer.... Swype does not have this obligation and that is why Swype is a better choice for me
Czech layout, i.e. the ´ and ˇ key is still missing...
I've been testing it since yesterday. The keyboard is nice, I like that the skin is not that far from the classic iOS keyboard. I was surprised by Flow because it could take some getting used to, but I'm still faster with tapping. The dictionary still needs to be improved and I am currently teaching him my pronunciation. Landscape on iPh6+ is better than the default one in iOS.
Overall, just a nice keyboard, but here I don't know where the fault is, but rather on both sides - both the developers and Apple. It happens (mainly in iMessages) that after returning to the app there is no keyboard, not even the original one, you have to shoot down the app. The short delay when switching back to this keyboard is so annoying, one is not used to that on iOS. Stupid scrolling of iMessages that you are not at the end of the conversation when the keyboard is displayed.
I just feel that the keyboard support in iOS is not yet fine-tuned at all to resemble when you only have a basic keyboard. Using the alternative simply works in a way that one is not used to with iOS, where everything is immediate and accurate. Something takes time, something doesn't work, something is strange, etc. Too bad, it would be a cure for my typos.
