Apple vs. Microsoft (1993)

On August 24, 1993, one of the most famous lawsuits in the modern history of technology erupted. Briefly, it could be said that Apple claimed at the time that Microsoft's Windows operating system was seriously infringing its copyrights. In the end, the Supreme Court ruled in favor of Microsoft, saying that Apple did not present strong enough arguments.

Windows 95 Comes (1995)

On August 24, 1995, the Microsoft company came up with a major innovation in the form of the Windows 95 operating system. Its sales exceeded all expectations, and many users still remember the "nineties" fondly. It was the first Microsoft OS of the 9x series, preceded by the Windows 3.1x series. In addition to a number of other novelties, users saw in Windows 95, for example, a significantly improved graphical user interface, simplified functions for connecting "plug-and-play" type accessories and much more. Among other things, the release of the Windows 95 operating system was accompanied by a massive and expensive marketing campaign. Windows 95 was the successor to Windows 98, Microsoft ended support for Win 95 at the end of December 2001.
