Technologies also include games. One of the most popular is Mortal Kombat, whose premiere on gaming machines will be remembered in today's part of our "historical" series. It will also be about one of the lawsuits that the recording company Apple Corps had with Apple.

Finish him! (1992)

On October 8, 1992, the now legendary fighting game Mortal Kombat came to video game machines. This game series was originally developed by Midway Games, and the game has seen a number of sequels and spin-offs, as well as adaptations for other platforms. Over time, fans of Mortal Kombat also saw comics or even an animated series. Mortal Kombat eventually became one of the most successful and highest grossing fighting game series.

The Apple Dispute (1991)

On October 8, 1991, a second legal dispute between Apple Computer and Apple Corps was settled. The latter company was "officially older", and it was a record company founded by members of the legendary music group The Beatles. Among other things, Apple Corps resented the use of the same name in connection with music production. The court ordered Apple to pay a fine of 26,5 million dollars, but the disputes dragged on until 2007, when they were resolved in the form of a mutual agreement.
