In the 1s, however, the situation was different and the choice of browsers was not nearly as rich. In today's installment of our history series, we'll remember the day Microsoft's Internet Explorer gained the largest market share. But we will also remember the launch of the Falcon XNUMX rocket

Internet Explorer dominates the market (1998)

On September 28, 1998, the Internet browser officially gained more market share than competitor Netscape Navigator. It thus became number one among web browsers. The Internet Explorer browser was part of (not only) the MS Windows operating system between 1995 and 2013. It was also available for Mac owners, with the advent of the Windows 10 operating system, Microsoft introduced the MS Edge browser.

Falcon 1 Goes Into Space (2008)

SpaceX launched its Falcon 28 on September 2008, 1. It was the fourth flight of the two-stage liquid-propellant rocket and, after three previous attempts, also the first successful launch to reach low Earth orbit. The fifth and final flight of the Falcon 1 rocket took place in July 2009. The Falcon 1 was then succeeded by the Falcon 9 rocket. SpaceX originally planned to come up with an improved version of the Falcon 1 - the Falcon 1e - but its development was suspended in favor of the Falcon 9 .
