On July 14, 1965, during its successful flyby, the American probe Mariner 4 took a series of photos that clearly captured the details of the surface of the planet Mars, and for its time, in really good quality. Mariner 4 was the first probe to do this – its predecessor, Mariner 3, had failed in this field. The probe was launched into space at the end of November 1964 using the Atlas-Agena D carrier.
Spotify Comes to the US (2011)
Spotify, originally a Swedish music streaming service, has officially launched in the United States. The Spotify platform was founded in 2006, and met with a mostly enthusiastic response in the online community. Since its inception, it has had its own applications, integrations with a number of devices and third-party services, and it also has legal disputes with Apple on its account, among other things.
