The iOS Weather app has a feature that lets you easily switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit. If you live in America and are looking at the Fahrenheit scale, you can switch it to the Celsius scale - of course the reverse is also true. Simply and simply, it doesn't matter where you are in the world, because Weather will definitely not limit you in which scale you want to use. In order to activate the display of another scale, we have to find a small hidden button in the Weather app on iOS. Let's see together where it is.

How to change the scale in Weather

  • Let's open the application Weather  (doesn't matter if using a widget or icon on the home screen).
  • An overview of the weather in our default city will be displayed.
  • In the lower right corner, click on icon of three lines with dots.
  • All locations where we monitor the temperature will be displayed.
  • There is a small, unobtrusive one under the locations switch °C / °F, which when tapped will change the scale from Celsius to Fahrenheit and of course vice versa.

The scale you chose will become the default setting. This means you won't have to change it every time you launch the app - it will stay as you left it. Unfortunately, it is not yet possible to monitor both scales – both Celsius and Fahrenheit – at the same time. We always have to choose only one of them. Who knows, maybe we will see this function in iOS in one of the next updates.
