Personally, it took me a while to figure out the magic of iCloud. So for a long time I worked with the classic 5GB of storage that Apple offers for free with each Apple ID. However, later on I got to a stage where I almost lost all my photos, so I thought I'd rather have them backed up on iCloud. At the same time, I bought a Mac, which can communicate perfectly with iCloud and, by extension, with the iPhone. And it was sealed – I started using iCloud as my primary cloud. But I still try not to waste free space on it, so I manually choose what data my iPhone should automatically send to iCloud. You can do the same setup on your iPhone too, let's show you how.

What data does your iPhone send to iCloud?

First, open the app on your iOS device Settings. Once you've done that, click on at the top of the screen Your name. Here then move to the section iCloud and select the option after loading all the items Manage storage. Now wait again for a while until it loads. Then get off below and click the tab with the name Advances. Here is a list of all your devices backed up on iCloud. The device you want to manage data backups for unclick.

Now you have to wait for a long time until all the apps and data to be backed up are loaded. In my case this took about 30 seconds to load. Once all the apps and data start showing up, click on the option View all apps. You're just helping yourself here switches you can choose whether you want to continue backing up this data or not. As soon as you switch the switch for a specific application to the inactive position, the data stored on iCloud will be deleted on the one hand delete and on the one hand, with the next backup they will not back up.

This is how you can easily manage storage on your iCloud. For example, if you have a small tariff and want to see how it is possible that the storage is full, you will find all the information you need here. You may notice that in my case, I also have a backup of some games on iCloud that take up a lot of space. Maybe you feel exactly the same way. So just stick to this setting and choose which apps will back up their data to iCloud and which won't.
