Patrik Pajer Finding an original puzzle game seems to be an increasingly complicated task. Recently, game titles that offer dozens of not so interesting genres have been continuously released. Fortunately, every once in a while a game comes along with a fresh idea, and Baba Is You is just such a case. Unlike most of the competition, the game does not bind you with fixed rules - in a sense, it leaves you to change them according to your own needs in each of the levels.

The first level of the game demonstrates the simplest possible solution. Two statements light up on the screen – “Baba is you” and “the flag is a win”. In this case, just run with Baba (your character in the game) to the place with the flag. Gradually, however, these statements become more complicated and it is usually impossible to solve a certain level in a classic way. At that moment, you will really have to engage your gray brain cells - because you can move the individual parts of the statement, which sometimes turns an intractable situation into a comically simple matter. For example, one of the levels can be solved by rewriting the statement to "Baba is a win" and you win automatically.
As the game progresses, of course, the problems become more complicated, and you also have to take into account, for example, the different properties of individual game blocks. You can walk through some, and in others you will drown without the ability to fly. Baba Is You offers over two hundred levels, so it's not a matter for a few lazy afternoons. The game can squeeze sweat out of you with mental strain and maybe even tears in some difficult levels. Additionally, the community level editor is now in open beta. Soon you will be able to play the cruelly demanding creations of other players.
