It was with this that the first speculations came that the iOS 17 system would not bring much joy.

Due to the not-so-happy situation surrounding the release of new versions of iOS 16, news has spread across the Apple community that Apple prefers the brand new xrOS system over iOS, which should run on the aforementioned AR/VR headset. Naturally, it also started to be said that the upcoming iOS 17 will not bring much news, in fact, quite the opposite. Early speculations and leaks talked about less news and a primary focus on bug fixes and overall performance. But this gradually turned into negative predictions - iOS 17 will face a number of problems due to its lower priority. Now, however, the situation has turned diametrically. The new information came from Mark Gurman, a Bloomberg reporter and one of the most accurate sources, according to whom Apple changes plans as they go.
The original leaks should have been true - Apple really did not intend any major update and, on the contrary, wanted to treat iOS 17 as a solid implementation of known problems and performance. However, as we mentioned above, the situation is now changing. According to Gurman, Apple is expected to bring a number of extremely important features with the arrival of iOS 17. Allegedly, these are supposed to be the most requested functions that Apple users are missing in their phones so far. The apple-growing community was thus transformed into enthusiasm practically in an instant.

In the end, however, there is also the question of why something like this actually happened. As we have already stated, the initial plan of the Cupertino company was that iOS 17 would be a minor update. Thanks to this, he could avoid the problems that accompanied the release of iOS 16. Although it brought a number of novelties, it suffered from unnecessary errors, which complicated the entire deployment process. But now it is turning. It is possible that Apple has started to listen to the apple users themselves. Rather negative attitudes of users spread across the community, who were definitely not satisfied with the speculations about the weak, even neglected, development of iOS 17. It is therefore possible that Apple has reassessed its priorities and is trying to find a solution that would satisfy as many as possible not only fans, but all users in general. But how the situation with iOS 17 will turn out in the final is unclear for now. Apple does not announce any further information before the presentation, which is why we will have to wait until June for the first demonstration of the system.
