YouTube is always experimenting with something new, as evidenced by short video previews in the form of GIFs, new skins or automatically generated video previews. Now, inspired by Instagram, he is testing a tab called 'Explore'. This should help users discover new videos and channels based on what content they've watched. Although YouTube already offers a similar service, users have complained about repetitive content and are demanding a more extensive offer.

Only 1% of users will see the changes on their iOS devices. However, if the novelty catches on, we can expect the Explore function on every device. Explore helps us discover the hidden treasures that are hiding under tons of the latest content. The feature is primarily designed to help you find videos on different topics or even channels that you might come across. The selection will of course be personalized, but it should be completely different content than what you are used to seeing.

Video creators will certainly welcome the function, as they will be able to get their content to new viewers who, for example, have not seen their work and channel yet.

An explanation of how Explore actually works was presented by the Creator Insider channel, which was founded by YouTube employees, where they present the news and changes they are preparing. We have an example in the video that if we were to watch videos focused on telescopes, Explore can recommend videos about high-quality cameras.
