Jiří Filip Press Release: XTB has been increasingly known for its free stock and ETF investments in recent years, however the company has never stopped focusing on active traders as well, for whom it still produces a range of educational and analytical materials. A regular Live Trading show that is on YouTube channel XTB continuously broadcast since 2013, is a shining example of this. So what is it about? And is it worth your attention?
This project was founded ten years ago as a fairly simple concept: to show the public how professional traders trade in real time with real money. The project thus aims to prove that trading is not a meaningless gamble, but that with the right behavior and strategy it can be an interesting, potentially profitable alternative to long-term investing.
These efforts can undoubtedly be considered fulfilled. The live trading account has only been in a total loss for only one year in its entire existence. It was a pandemic year 2020, which wiped out a large part of the profits from previous years, but traders quickly adapted to the new situation and the last years were positive again. For example, last year 2022 ended in a profit of 23%, which is a great result given the very negative market situation where most long-term investors are in the red.
Currently, three XTB Senior Account Managers participate in Live trading – Martin Jakubec, Petr Zýma and Stanislav Viktorin. Everyone works with their own trades, thus one has the opportunity to follow different approaches in trading; from scalping to swing trading. All on many different instruments such as Forex, stock indices, commodities or even cryptocurrencies. So, if you are interested in trading, Live trading can be an interesting study material for beginners, but also a good comparative benchmark for seasoned traders.
The show is broadcast live - always on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 a.m na YouTube channel XTB. All parts are of course then available from the recording.
