Jiří Filip The year flew by and Online Festival 2021 is here! Last year's successful first year was linked to the start of sales of the new Xbox Series X|S consoles from Microsoft. This year's eleven-day Online Festival 2021, which will take place from Friday 29/10/19:00 to Monday 8/11 on the Facebook page xbox.cz, will be thematically focused on the 20th anniversary of existence Xbox. The main partner of the Online Festival 2021 is Alza.
TIP: It's almost unbelievable, but on 15/11/2021 it will be 20 years since Microsoft's Xbox gaming console went on sale. Join the celebrations that will follow the Online Festival 2021.
The primary goal of the event is to familiarize less knowledgeable viewers with the Xbox Game Pass game library, which allows playing on Xbox Series X|S, PC and mobile. However, the central point is the player as a person who wants to not only have fun playing, but also to fulfill his dreams.
That's why we'll welcome a diverse range of guests to Online Festival 2021, from gamers to journalists, artists and athletes to past and present members of Microsoft's marketing teams. The online festival 2021 wants not only to entertain the audience, but also to bring a positive message and motivation to not give up on their dreams.

Program of the Online Festival 2021
"Press A to start" (Friday 29 October)
Ollie Ivanova and her guests* will open the Online Festival 2021 with a debate about Xbox, not only as a console, but also as a brand, an ecosystem, a symbol of the first decade of our century, memorable moments in its history, and touch on possible directions for its future.
Girl Power (Saturday 30 October)
The female element is no longer a peripheral matter in gaming, quite the opposite. "OdetteD", perhaps the best-known Czech player of Age of Empires II, and "Lady Brunette", an esports Slovak representative in the NHL game series, will bring their perspective on what is happening in the communities of "their" most popular game titles.
Are (print) gaming magazines dinosaurs? (Sunday 31 October)
The trio of veterans of the Czech and Slovak gaming scene, Petr Poláček (LEVEL), Mikoláš "Tukan" Tuček (SCORE) and Pavol Buday (ex-Sector), is closely associated with ever-successful gaming magazines and websites. Score and Level are indelibly linked to the beginnings of the gaming scene in the Czech Republic, and Sector gradually became the leading e-zine among our eastern neighbors. How was game journalism done then and how is it now, when digital platforms rule the world?
Behind the stick, camera and microphone (Monday 1 November)
Another trio of interesting guests again has to do with games and activities that are closely related to them. Streamer and lover of everything digital that flies, swims and drives, "RikOnAir", digital content creator Martin Rota and YouTuber and esports commentator Ondra "Lelek" Kvarda will share insights from the environment in which they have become unmissable personalities.
Spartans in action (Tuesday 2 November)
Do real pros even have time to play? And if so, how are they doing? A trio of players from HC Sparta Praha come to chat with Bára about their relationship to games and gaming and take a closer look at NHL 22, currently the latest installment of the legendary sports series from EA SPORTS. And, of course, the guys will take the controls and show us their skills on the digital ice rink.
Is gaming a lifestyle? (Wednesday 3 November)
This stream will once again be female-focused - discussing games, gaming and messing around from the point of view of girls and women for whom this type of entertainment is more or less a lifestyle. What are they satisfied with, what makes them happy, what amuses them? On the contrary, what annoys them and bothers them? And will the entire stream be all about gaming?
Back to the future (Thursday 4 November)
Former and current Czech Microsoft marketers, Míša Králová, Michal Forejt and Aleš Petr, will come to remember how they helped introduce not only individual Xbox models, but also the Kinect motion sensor to the domestic market and what joys and sorrows they experienced while doing so. From their point of view, they will evaluate what position Xbox has built in the Czech Republic, so that they can finally get to how they also see the future of the brand.
Communities are the heart and lungs of the gaming scene (Friday 5 October)
Development studios, publishers and distributors would have a significantly harder job if there were no game communities around which great projects popularizing individual titles or entire series are created. Viktor "Cabadaj" Růžička, Petr "Lil Dog" Přindiš and Filip "Cryptah" Suchomel are representatives of large and successful Czech communities with experience in managing them or organizing events and tournaments.
Those without whom it would not be possible (Saturday 6 October)
The previous stream was dedicated to fans and their communities, so this one will focus on those who invent and develop games for them. It will be about game studies, game development especially in domestic conditions and future trends in this area.
Who isn't on Twitch like they aren't? (Sunday 7 October)
The streaming platform Twitch has still relatively recently become a huge phenomenon that has helped massively increase the reach of games, and nothing seems to be able to stop its growth just yet. There will be questions regarding mainly its present and near future in our country and in the world.
We step on the gas in the finish line (Monday 8 November)
So what could lovers of fast cars talk about in reality and in the digital world? Of course, about racing games, and especially interesting news that await us in this popular game genre soon. Chef and influencer Chili Ta Thuy "spices up" the nutritious portion of the conversation with her presence.
