If you need to connect to a free WiFi network somewhere on the go, this application will help you with that perfectly. In addition, it also displays a lot of useful information about the found networks and mainly serves as a quality replacement for the standard WiFi manager in Settings.

After starting the application, a short scan will take place and all the networks in range will appear on the screen, sorted from the most usable to the least usable (based on encryption, signal strength, etc.). For each, the signal strength, channel and encryption type are indicated in small print. As soon as a network is found to which it is possible to connect and you have access to the Internet, you will be informed about it (a ringtone can be set) and you can also set a so-called Auto Connect, thanks to which you connect to the network and you have the possibility to define what happens after connection (exit WifiTrak, start Safari / Mail / URL). The app can also detect hidden and redirected networks, which is definitely a big plus. If you click on one of the found networks, you will get to the details of the network. Here you will also find the MAC address of the network, Noise and the option to manually connect to the network (if it is encrypted, you must enter a password) or network forget.

Of course, the application has a sheet remembered network, leaf se the forgotten ones networks and a configurable regular automatic scan during which your iPhone will not be locked.

WifiTrak is fast, easy to use, and has helped me connect to the network on the go several times. It is definitely worth the price, despite the fact that the authors are constantly improving the application.
