In the midst of saving the world, one can easily forget that even all those monsters have their own worries, stable jobs and the desire to climb the career ladder. At least this reality is offered by the unconventional tactical strategy Legend of Keepers: Career of a Dungeon Master.

Last year's game can best be compared to Darkest Dungeon upside down. As the manager of a dark dungeon, you stand against expeditions of heroic parties who want to cut through your army of servants and end your life at the end of the intricate corridors. But to get to you, they must first go through a series of tactical battles with your employees. These represent various monsters that abound with a number of unique abilities. When brute force doesn't apply to good-hearted heroes, you can set them on fire, poison them, or lead them into one of the not-so-cheap traps. You also have to remember that the bag of gold is not bottomless and a good manager must handle money effectively.

Legend of Keepers got a new expansion called Soul Smugglers a few days ago. This enriches the original game with new monsters and, as the name suggests, it is mainly about stealing the heroes' souls. You can use these to upgrade your monsters or revive them in newly available graveyards. The datadisk, like the original game, is currently at a nice discount on Steam.
