Apple released the second betas of iOS 13.1 and iPadOS 13.1 tonight, coming a week apart since the release of the first beta versions. Alongside them, the company also released tvOS 13 beta 9. All three mentioned updates are intended exclusively for developers. The public beta versions for testers should be released in the course of tomorrow.

The second beta versions of iOS 13.1 and iPadOS 13.1 confirm that the testing of the original systems in the form of iOS 13 and iPadOS 13, which Apple presented at WWDC in June, is indeed in the final stage. The systems are probably completely finished and just waiting for the September keynote, when the company will release the Golden Master (GM) version and subsequently, together with the new iPhones, also a sharp version for regular users.

Developers can download and install the second beta of iOS 13.1 and iPadOS 13.1 in General -> Software Update in Settings on their iPhone or iPad, the update is just over 500MB. In addition to bug fixes and overall system stability improvements, the update probably also brings several new features. We will inform you about any changes through the article.

The new iOS 13.1 brings several changes, but in fact these are functions that Apple removed from iOS 13 during the summer testing and are now returning to the system in a functional form. These are, for example, automation in the Shortcuts application or the ability to share the expected time of arrival (so-called ETA) in Apple Maps with friends or family. The system also includes dynamic wallpapers, adjusts a number of elements within the user interface and returns the function for sharing audio through AirPods.

Along with the updates for iPhones and iPads, Apple has also made tvOS 9 Beta 13 available. Developers can download this to their Apple TV in Settings. The update will most likely fix minor bugs.
