VSCO Cam has long been one of the best and most popular photo editing apps on the App Store. However, the developers did not rest on their laurels, and with the latest update they improved their mobile photo editor even more and made it more attractive. They made the application for iPhone universal and thus transferred it to the iPad as well. Despite their size, Apple tablets are capable cameras, and more and more people are using them to take photos, or at least to edit photos.

VSCO 4.0 comes with a user interface adapted directly for tablets, so the application on the iPad is definitely not just an enlargement with bloated controls. With the arrival of the application on the iPad, the possibility of synchronization between devices also appears. If you're signed into the same VSCO account on both your iPhone and iPad, your photos and all your edits will show up and take effect on both devices. A very nice feature is the modification history (Edit History), thanks to which you will be able to undo and modify the adjustments you have applied to a specific photo.

VSCO has also improved its social side. The application has a new function journal, through which the user can share extensive image content to the VSCO Grid, a grid that is a sort of showcase of the work of VSCO users. It is also a nice feature of VSCO 4.0 on the iPad Presset Gallery. This will allow you to view differently modified photos side by side, which will help you significantly in choosing the right modification.

Unfortunately, these functions did not arrive on the iPhone, but it also received some new features. You can now manually adjust the exposure and white balance when taking photos, as well as switch to night mode. However, neither version yet offers extensions in iOS 8, so you can only edit within VSCO.
