The VOCOlinc HomeKit Indoor Camera VC1 will become another gadget in smart home security. It detects the slightest movement, about which it can send a notification, and then stores the encrypted records directly in the safety of your iCloud. In addition to distinguishing between animals, people and cars, the HomeKit Secure Video service can also recognize faces tagged in the Photos application, so it can notify you when a specific family member is coming home. Attention, for full use it is necessary to own a home center (HomePod, AppleTV or stable iPad) because the camera works primarily through it.

The camera is equipped with a lens that allows 350° horizontal and 117° vertical rotation, which you can control in the VOCOlinc application, it can really see the whole room. For example, you can check your children who have come home from school and thanks to two-way communication (built-in microphone and speaker) you can also greet them straight away. The night mode provides good visibility (up to 6m), so you can use the camera as a baby monitor.

Thanks to the motion sensor, it works as a trigger for other actions within your smart ecosystem. For example, turning on lights or triggering an alarm when motion is detected. The advantage of this camera and other VOCOlinc products is the direct connection to 2,4GHz Wi-Fi, so no additional Hub/Bridge is needed in addition to the Apple home center.

The package includes a mounting dock for mounting and an adapter with a USB-C cable. Opto has a video sensor with a resolution of 3MPx. It provides high-quality full HD video recording and image streaming, including digital zooming.
