In addition to the arrival of the Apple Watch Series 6 and Apple Watch SE, we also saw the introduction of brand new watch faces yesterday, but Apple did not specify at its conference whether their support will only apply to new products or older ones as well. However, we can now confirm that the Apple Watch Series 4 and Series 5 will also receive these new watch faces, which you can find below.
Specifically, in this operating system we will see exactly six new watch faces, which include Typograph, Memoji, GMT, Count Up, Stripes and Artist. Typograph resembles a traditional watch – you can choose from three different styles on this dial: classic, modern and rounded. As for the Memoji watch face, every time you raise your wrist to your face, an animated Memoji will appear. The GMT and Count Up are similar to the Chronograph Pro dial, and you can customize the Stripes dial in up to nine different colors. In addition, the apple company also added a new watch face in collaboration with artist Geoff McFetridge, which brings a unique artwork interacting with the watch. Every time you raise your wrist, the portrait changes thanks to the algorithm, and according to the Californian giant, there are truly countless combinations. The artist dial (Artist) should therefore constantly surprise you. You'll need iOS 14 on your phone and watchOS 7 on your watch to get the watch faces, with the public versions coming out later today.
However, we can now confirm that these new watch faces, listed below…
