Gameloft has been doing well lately, and as you can tell from the wise saying: "who doesn't get tired, gets green" has been confirmed again. Gameloft releases one quality game after another almost every month, and the download numbers, whether on the US or other Appstores, are huge. This time, this mega-company, which has been operating since 1999, indulged in a trailer for the second sequel to the Modern Combat shooter.
Mscratched Combat many of you probably recognize it from your iOS devices, and if not, imagine Call of Duty 4 or Delta Force: Black Hawk Down from PC. Just a classic 3D shooter from a war environment with "everything everywhere" as the Czech brothers say. In addition to the new (allegedly more exciting) story, u Black Pegasus, as the second part will be called, we can look forward to improved graphics (optimization for retina display is confirmed) and new controls using the Gyroscope.
This HW feature only includes the latest iPhone and iPod Touch, but owners of older devices or iPads do not have to worry, because the setting will also allow classic aiming by touching the screen. In the game itself, we alternate a total of three different regions, namely South America, Eastern Europe and the Middle East. All this in twelve missions, which, according to the developers, should take a more experienced player more than four hours to play.
The biggest blockbuster will not be the graphics or controls, but the sophisticated multiplayer, which will be able to connect up to 10 players at once. This will certainly bring back memories of hours spent playing CS or COD: Modern Warfare 2. The multiplayer itself will have three modes and each will be available through Gameloft Live, which suggests that playing through Apple Game Center will not be possible. Personally, I'm still looking forward to this game and expect a lot of fun from it, so I hope Gameloft doesn't disappoint me. The release date is set for the first half of October 2010.

Why do I have an unpleasant feeling that multiplayer will be paid for? I don't see any other reason why not to use gamecenter.
It's possible :) Even if local should be free anyway.
maybe because you can play with other os, the first part is also on android and bade (maybe also symbian)
It won't be because of that :) I bought it now so we'll see, but I don't think GameCenter is there purely for the reason that Gameloft is still very focused on making their games playable on iPhones older than the 3GS (and equivalent iPods). And GameCenter no longer works on 3G ;-)
Hello, I already have it, it's great, you can see a huge improvement compared to the unit, both in terms of graphics and gameplay. It runs without problems on the 3GS, but the graphics are not like on the screens, so for the 3GS and older models it is probably a graphically "truncated" version of the game. But still, it looks great on my apple ;)
