In the past, in our picks for the best games for macOS, we have written about a number of different building strategies in which you can build your own theme parks, space colonies or safer versions of Jurassic Park. The developers at Pixelsplit Simulations now come with another addition to the already abundant genre. Their novelty should be distinguished from the others by a rather absurd setting. You will build huge amusement parks in Indoorlands in huge halls.

Wondering why anyone would want to build virtual theme parks indoors? According to the developers, this is a means by which they limit players. During planning and construction, you have to keep within the barriers determined by the limited space of the inner halls. Unlike other similar strategies, you have to carefully strategize with the location of your attractions from the very beginning and have a clear plan for the expansion of the park in your head. You will then build it in many thematic spaces, which you will unlock by playing continuously.

In everything else, Indoorlands resembles the classic representatives of its genre. Although you will be limited by a very limited space, your goals are always the same - to ensure that the park survives financially and attracts new visitors. For this, the game will give you a choice of many different attractions. You can even design some of them yourself and try to control them in different simulations. The game is still in early access, but it looks great, and you can get it on Steam now for a great price.
