The game of leading a post-Soviet republic in an era of uncertainty and building a new national identity certainly deserves some degree of respect. However, some developers approach political topics with insight and wit. Such is the case with the creators of Bears, Vodka, Balalaika, whose name suggests that it will not be taken too seriously. The creation of the Rabiotagi Games studio has the main task of entertaining, and it succeeds in this just from the received videos.

Bears, Vodka, Balalaika is a simple game that apparently the creators were done in a few days. In the role of a patriotic bear, you are tasked with protecting your motherland from the onslaught of Nazi soldiers. They come at you in waves, and the only thing you can do by eliminating them gradually is to increase your score - and of course the famous rescue of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. The bear is equipped with the legendary AK-47 - although the so-called Kalashnikov was actually included in the equipment of the Soviet armies only in 1948, the game does not play on historical fidelity.

In addition to your bear form, two other facts mentioned in the game's title are an important part of the gameplay. In the face of the Nazi occupation, real Russian vodka and a traditional musical instrument - the balalaika - will help you. Thanks to drinking vodka, the main character is able to heal, playing the balalaika only serves to create the right atmosphere. This is complemented by a separate soundtrack, proudly singing nationalistic songs. Bears, Vodka, Balalaika may not offer the most complex gameplay, but it can certainly put a smile on your face. You only pay a few ducks for the extra game.
