Yes, yes, yes… we all know and we all complain that Siri is still not available in Czech or Slovak. Anyway, I think that anyone who really wants to use Siri knows at least a little bit of English. So if you use English as a secondary language, Siri can be more than useful as a translator. Siri can translate the English language into different languages. These languages that Siri can translate English into include French, German, Italian, Chinese, and Spanish. There are two ways you can force Siri to translate English. Let's take a look at it.
1st way
The first way is to directly tell Siri which language you want to translate the phrase into. In this case, Siri will not give you a choice of languages. So she translates the sentence directly without asking anything.
- We activate Siri (either by command "Hey Siri" or with the activation button)
- Then we say, for example: "Translate Can I have a beer into German."
- Siri the sentence automatically translates and reads
2st way
The Kinds way lets you choose from multiple languages. Just say the English sentence you want to translate and Siri will ask you which language you want to translate the sentence into.
- We activate Siri (either by command "Hey Siri" or with the activation button)
- Let's say for example: "Translate May I have a sausage."
- Then just choose one language from the menu
Thanks to these simple ways, you can easily turn your Siri assistant into a translator. Siri can have several functions and I think she can serve very well as a translator.
