It used to be the custom for the company to give out interesting gifts to its users either from December 24th or right after the New Year. Lately, however, he's been coughing quite a bit on this tradition, which is definitely a shame. Especially thanks to its streaming services, it has a huge potential to provide something more to new customers. After all, it is not excluded that we will actually see some interesting step this year.

It could at least be content available for free within Apple TV+, where, after all, the company has already provided certain acts for a certain period for free. This was, for example, the documentary 11/20: The President's War Cabinet, which was available for free on all devices offering its platform. This, of course, on the sad XNUMXth anniversary of this event.

For Christmas, Apple could provide not only a Snoopy special, but also the upcoming documentary It was a Christmas dispute, which should premiere on November 26, or Mariah Carey's Magical Christmas Special, which the platform presented last year. After all, a sequel to Mariah's Christmas: The Magic Continues is coming out this year, so it would also be a nice advertisement.

However, some music would not be out of the question either, although it could be more complicated to implement here, but we have also received various music specials or video clips from the company. Of course, there are still various discount events for applications and their content, as was the case in 2019, for example.

Christmas gifts in past seasons

In the aforementioned 2019, Apple prepared for us special discount events for content in applications and games, which it gave away from December 24 to 29. For example, it was the game Looney Tunes World of Mayhem, in which we could get a 60% discount on the in-app purchase of The Holiday Bost Pack, graphic editor Canva and a discount on his subscription, a 50% discount on the subscription of the singing app Smule, or in the hit Clash Royale we could open packages with content of four times the value of the original.

However, back in 2011, Apple was giving away paid games for free. All you had to do on his Facebook page was copy the redeem code and paste it into the App Store. Back then it was about paid games like Bejeweled or Where's my Water?. In the same year, Apple also held the 12 Days since Christmas event, in which it gave away selected apps, music, books or video clips for free. It did so through a special app that you had to install from the App Store.

In 2013, there was an event called iTunes Gift. For 9 days, we could look forward not only to applications, but also entire films and music albums. Everything was started by Maroon 5 with two new singles and a video, followed by content from Ed Sheeran, or the games Score!, Sonic Jump, Toy Story Toons and applications such as Poster or Geomaster. For many, the film Home Alone was the most interesting.
