The new OS X Yosemite will also include iTunes 12, which Apple for the first time showed in July and will have a redesigned look that matches the new operating system. Now, Apple has also started distributing a redesigned form of its iTunes Store and App Store, they are getting a flatter and cleaner design in the style of iOS.

We can notice the changes right away in the most prominent element of the iTunes Store – the top panel, where until now cards with various news from the world of music and applications were displayed. This entire panel has been "flattened" and remade into a modern banner that can be rotated by dragging your finger on the touchpad.

All shading and other graphical elements have disappeared from the iTunes Store and App Store, everything is now white and clean with typography and buttons tuned to the style of OS X Yosemite. After all, it borrows a lot from iOS, so even the new form of stores resembles those from iPhones and iPads.

The new design has not yet been implemented in all corners of the iTunes Store, however, the final version of iTunes 12 should only be released together with OS X Yosemite, and it is possible that this will happen already on Thursday, October 16, when Apple will introduce new products.
