Jan Zdarsa Complaints about the new trackpad in the Macbook Pro began to appear in foreign forums. People complained that sometimes there is an outage, when the trackpad just doesn't work. One contributor wrote: "About every 50 clicks, my trackpad stops working for about 5 more clicks, but it's not limited by the number of clicks, rather it starts working again after a few seconds."
Apple support responded to one of them saying that they are currently looking into what is causing this error as they have heard this complaint from many users. Even Steve Jobs himself sent a short but clear answer to one of the users: “Software patch coming soon". So it is not yet clear when this fix will see the light of day, but at least users know that a small software update will be enough.
