This year's developer conference WWDC is fast approaching, so it is understandable that news about the upcoming operating system iOS 14 is also increasing. As for other speculations from this week, there was talk, for example, about the technique of applying more durable glasses for iPhones or the future Magic Keyboard for iPad Air.

Magic Keyboard for iPad Air

When Apple introduced its Magic Keyboard with a trackpad for the iPad Pro, many owners of the classic iPad certainly wanted it. According to reports from the past week, it looks like Apple could indeed introduce it - in this context, there is specific speculation about the iPad Air. But it will most likely be a future, not current, version of this tablet from Apple. According to some speculations, these should be equipped with a USB-C port, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo adds that their display should have a diagonal of 10,8 inches. According to the leaker with the nickname L0vetodream, the future iPad Air should be equipped with a mini-LED display, under which the fingerprint reader should be located.

iOS 14 is even better

This year's developer conference WWDC is fast approaching, and along with it, speculations and conjectures regarding the iOS 14 operating system, which Apple will present there, are also increasing. Many of you surely remember certain complications that accompanied the release of the iOS 13 operating system. This should no longer happen in the case of this year's iOS version - according to available reports, the development of iOS 14 is governed by a completely different key, which should reduce the occurrence of "children's diseases" of the operating system to an absolute minimum. As far as functions are concerned, iOS 14 should bring, for example, augmented reality support for native Maps and the Find application, offline Siri, a native Fitness application or perhaps new functions for native Messages.

More durable glass in iPhones

A broken screen or a cracked glass back of an iPhone is not pleasant. In addition, glass surfaces are also more susceptible to the formation of scratches under certain circumstances, which do not interfere with functionality, but surely no one cares about them. Owners of iOS and iPadOS devices are regularly clamoring for more durable displays, and it looks like Apple is finally going to listen. It testifies to that latest patent, which describes a new method of applying glass to Apple mobile devices. In the future, the application of glass could take place in micro-layers, which will be gradually unified and enriched with elements contributing to even higher resistance. This method of glass application could theoretically be applied to other products, such as iMacs or even the Apple Watch. However, this is a rather complicated matter, and it is not clear when - if at all - it will be put into practice, or to what extent this method of glass application will affect the final price of Apple products.
