The week went by like water, and even this time we were not deprived of various speculations, estimates and predictions. This time, for example, there was talk about the arrival of the AirPower charging pad, the success of the streaming service Apple TV+ or the new functions of the upcoming Apple Watch Series 6.

AirPower is back on the scene

Most of us have probably already managed to finally say goodbye to the idea of a pad for wireless charging from Apple - after all, third-party manufacturers also offer a number of interesting alternatives. Well-known leaker Jon Prosser came out last week with a message, according to which we could finally expect AirPower. In his Twitter post, Prosser shared with the public that the pad could cost $250, be equipped with an A11 chip, have a Lightning cable on the right side, and contain fewer coils.

40 million Apple TV+ users

When it comes to the popularity and quality of the Apple TV+ streaming service, opinions from viewers and experts often differ. While Apple itself is tight-lipped about specific numbers, analysts like to calculate how high the number of its subscribers might be. For example, Dan Ives came up with a calculation according to which the number of Apple TV+ subscribers is up to 40 million. As respectable as this number may sound, it should be borne in mind that a significant part is made up of users who obtained a year's free use of the service as part of the purchase of one of the new Apple products, and after the end of this period a significant part of the subscriber base may "fall away". However, Ives claims that over the next three to four years, the number of Apple TV+ subscribers could climb to 100 million.

New Apple Watch features

Apple is constantly striving to make its Apple Watch as beneficial as possible to human health. The Apple Watch Series 6 is expected to arrive this fall. According to some speculation, these should bring a number of new functions – for example, it could be the expected tool for monitoring sleep, measuring the level of oxygen in the blood or perhaps improved ECG measurement. In addition, there is also talk that Apple could enrich its smart watch with a panic attack detection function and other tools related to mental health. In addition to detecting panic attacks or anxiety, the next generation Apple Watch could also offer instructions to reduce psychological discomfort.
