On the penultimate day of October, Apple held an extraordinary - and last year's - Keynote with the subtitle Scary Fast. In today's roundup of events related to Apple, we will focus on this Keynote.

New M3 chips

At its last Keynote of the year, Apple presented a trio of new Apple Silicon chips. These are M3, M3 Pro and M3 Max chips, manufactured using 3nm technology. In terms of size, it does not differ from its predecessors, but it can accommodate many more transistors. Thanks to this, computers equipped with these chips can offer higher energy efficiency and better performance. The new generation of chips brings, among other things, better GPU performance, support for Ray Tracing hardware acceleration and a new, 16% faster Neural Engine.

New 24″ iMac M3

Speculations that we will see a new iMac this year have finally turned out to be true. Apple at its October Keynote introduced the new 24″ iMac fitted with an M3 chip. Although the M3 Pro or M3 Max version is not available, this year's iMac offers significantly higher speed and better performance compared to its predecessor. Users can choose up to 2TB of storage and up to 24GB of RAM when purchasing. The new iMacs can be ordered now, and will be available from November 7.
