iOS 16 installation limitations

Last week, Apple also restricted the installation of the iOS 16 operating system, specifically some of its older versions. Since last week, Apple has stopped signing the public version of the iOS 16.0.2 operating system, which is therefore impossible to return to. In this regard, MacRumors said that this is a fairly common practice that Apple tries to prevent users from switching to older versions of its operating systems. The iOS 16.0.2 operating system was released in the second half of September and brought mostly partial bug fixes. iOS 16.1 will be released on Monday, October 24 along with macOS 13 Ventura and iPadOS 16.1.

Problems with iPhone 14 (Pro)

The arrival of this year's iPhones was received with some embarrassment from some quarters. These doubts were further reinforced when reports of bugs suffered by some of the new models began to multiply. Apple admitted last week that this year's iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 14 Pro Max, and iPhone 14 Plus may experience problems connecting to the cellular network, and users may see an error message about the absence of SIM card support. The company has officially acknowledged that this is a more widespread problem than it originally thought, but at the same time, it is not yet clear what its cause is. According to available reports, the solution could be a software update, but at the time of writing, we still had no more concrete reports.
