Assasin's Creed Identity for iOS Finally Releases Worldwide on February 25th (1/2)

Assasin's Creed Identity, like previous titles in the series, takes place in Renaissance France. WhatsApp officially has one billion users (2.2.)

The management of Facebook has released several statistics related to its communication application WhatsApp. The most significant one is that it crossed the mark of one billion users worldwide. There are others associated with this, such as 42 billion messages sent per day or 1,6 billion photos sent per day. Uber has changed its visual presentation (February 2)

According to its management, Uber has matured as a company, which the company is trying to reflect with a changed visual presentation. This includes, in particular, the company logo in a new, rounder, thicker and tighter font, new application icons and the graphic environment of the cities in the application. The icons are different for drivers and passengers. Although the variations of the icon reflect the characteristics of the given side of the transaction, the result is much more abstract.

The visualizations of individual cities have also adapted to the context. The graphic environment adapts its colors and textures to the currently viewed city to better reflect the elements that are typical for it. Prague's graphics were, for example, inspired by the painters František Kupka and Alfons Mucha.

Nintendo will bring one of its well-known game characters to the iPhone (February 3)

When gaming company Nintendo first announced that it would be releasing a game for the iPhone, it created huge expectations among a wide range of gamers. But disappointment came after the release of the strange Miitomo app. It was not a game that arrived on the iPhone, but rather a strange attempt to create a gaming social network. But now, following the unfavorable financial results, Nintendo has promised that another title will arrive on the iPhone, this time bringing a "very well-known character" to the mobile platform.

“The second game will not be another communication app. We plan to bring one of the characters that is very familiar to the fans," said Nintendo CEO Tatsumi Kimishima.

It is not yet known which character from Nintendo's workshop will arrive on the iPhone. But it is likely that the company will want to link the mobile application with the latest game console Nintendo NX and the corresponding game for it. The question is how much players who do not have a Nintendo console will pay for this strategy.
