4. Army of the Dead

9. Dunkirk

The film begins at the moment when hundreds of thousands of British and allied soldiers are surrounded by the German army near the northern French city of Dunkirk. Trapped on the beach and with the ocean at their backs, the Allied soldiers face an absolutely hopeless situation. And the German troops are getting closer and closer. Defenseless men, standing in line for rescue, try to protect the Royal Air Force Spitfires, which destroy the enemy in the clouds. Meanwhile, hundreds of small vessels, with both soldiers and civilians at the helm, set out to help the soldiers and pilots who were shipwrecked at sea after the German attack. Thanks to "Operation Dynamo", which lasted eight days and whose success is considered almost a miracle, 338 men were evacuated from Dunkirk to England.
