If you belong to the group of users who can't get used to the trackpad of MacBooks and click to make a click on the trackpad and prefer to click with a tap, then you are in the right place today. People are divided into two camps - those who are comfortable with this setting and those who are not (mostly these are users of laptops with Windows OS, where we do not find this function). For example, if you've moved from Windows and can't get used to pushing down on the trackpad, you can change this option in your MacBook's settings to activate the tap-to-click feature. So how to do it?

How to turn on the tap-to-click feature

  1. In the upper bar, in the left part, click on Apple logo
  2. After clicking, we select an option System Preferences…
  3. In the newly opened window, click on the icon Trackpad
  4. We'll make sure we're bookmarked Pointing and clicking
  5. Let's enable the third feature from above, namely Click click

If you're one of those users who switched from Windows OS to MacBook and can't get used to pushing the trackpad, then after activating the tap-to-click function, you'll definitely be satisfied. As for the secondary tap (clicking with the right mouse button), you will also now be able to do it with just a touch on the trackpad.
