You may have heard about this app in connection with Apple TV, when it was one of the first apps available for the device in 2015. Two years later, it also won an award at the Apple Design Awards 2017.

If you're bored of the same dishes and want to try something new, definitely don't hesitate and get Kitchen Stories. As soon as you open it, you will be attracted by the very timeless design and tempting-looking pictures of all kinds of dishes. However, the application bets on inspiration and efficiency, so the appearance is not so important, the content itself is of course much more important. For each recipe, you will find the procedure explained step by step, which is accompanied by pictures and very useful videos. In addition, the application will help you, for example, to choose a suitable wine for a given dish.

As mentioned above, the application is also intended for complete beginners. If you don't know what to do and how to start, you can learn from the videos how to whip cream, how to properly cut a certain type of food, and so on. The video instructions are simple, very clear, and in addition to the cooking process, you will also learn useful tips and tricks from them. A great advantage of the entire application is the option to set the number of portions, when the weight and number of all ingredients needed to cook the given meal will be automatically adjusted.
For greater clarity, the recipes are divided into several categories, in one of which, for example, you can find recipes ready within twenty minutes, meals for every day, desserts, only pasta dishes or even vegan and gluten-free dishes. A small bonus is the possibility to add your favorite recipes to the collection or to create an automatic shopping list of ingredients for a given dish.
You can download Kitchen Stories absolutely free from App Store. The app is compatible with iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, Apple TV and requires iOS 9.0 or later. Unfortunately, the application does not contain Czech, it is primarily in English. But if you are not that proficient in it, you can choose from several other world languages, such as French, German or Italian.
