Amaya Toman Apple CEO Tim Cook donated five million dollars to an unspecified charity last week. Specifically, it was $4,89 million in 23 shares at a current price of $700. Cook has made no secret of his determination to donate the majority of his wealth to charity and systematically devote himself to philanthropy.

Around this time last year, he also donated less than five million dollars in Apple shares to charity. Cook doesn't usually brag about his charitable activities too publicly, preferring to donate money quietly. After deducting the donation, the current value of the Apple shares Cook owns is more than $176 million.
In recent years, it has been held, for example coffee or lunch auction with Tim Cook, while the proceeds from events of this type always went to charitable purposes. This week, Tim Cook also announced on his Twitter that Apple intends to support the rescue and restoration of the Amazon rainforest, which has been plagued by devastating fires for a long time. This year, Apple has already contributed, for example, to the development of national nature parks or to the reconstruction of the roof of the Notre Damme temple in Paris.
