A fairly sharp exchange of words took place last week between Apple boss Tim Cook and Aaron Sorkin, the screenwriter of the latest film Steve Jobs, which tells about the famous co-founder of the Cupertino company. He created tension Tim Cook's appearance on the show The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, where an Apple executive called the filmmakers opportunists: “A lot of people are trying to be opportunists right now. (…) I hate it. Not exactly a great aspect of our world today.”

Screenwriter Aaron Sorkin at these words he responded in front of the press, as follows: “No one made this film to get rich. Second, Tim Cook should really watch the movie before deciding what it actually is. And third, if you have a factory in China full of kids making phones for 17 cents an hour, you have to be very presumptuous to call someone else an opportunist.”

On Saturday, however, Sorkin tempered his passions and tried to remedy the situation. "You know what, I think Tim Cook and I both went a little too far," he said Sorkin to reporters from E! News. “And I apologize to Tim Cook. I hope that when he sees the film, he will enjoy it as much as I enjoy his products.”

However, neither Cook nor Apple responded to Sorkin's statement, so it is possible that the verbal dispute will fizzle out. But maybe Tim Cook will react when he sees the new movie for the first time. Steve Jobs because it will not arrive in theaters until October 9. At the same time, this is a highly anticipated film, also because the famous director Danny Boyle is behind it. The cast is also stellar.
